STRATEGY ∙ ORGANIZATIONS ∙ MANAGEMENT ∙ LEADERSHIP

About Me

I am an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) in Strategy at Cardiff Business School, where I completed my MBA and PhD in strategy and management. My research focuses on the interpersonal and intraorganizational dynamics of strategic leadership, particularly exploring the counterintuitive, contentious, and causally ambiguous aspects of power and ideology within lboards and top management teams.

I specialize in applying and developing organization and management theory to address contemporary challenges, including technological augmentation, diversity ideologies, and sociopolitical contingencies that shape firm behavior and outcomes. As an Associate Editor for the Innovation and Technology track of the Journal of Business Research and through collaborative research with industry partners, I am deeply interested in understanding and addressing challenges of organizational design, structure, and management in the implementation and optimization of AI.

My research has been published in leading journals including the Journal of Management Studies, Long Range Planning, Journal of Product Innovation Management, and Corporate Governance: An International Review. I have also contributed chapters to edited volumes on entrepreneurship and management published by Oxford University Press. I regularly present at major conferences organized by the Academy of Management, Strategic Management Society, Society for the Advancement of Management Studies, and International Corporate Governance Society.

I welcome new collaborations, offering my conceptual and methodological expertise in the study of ideology, power, and leadership team composition to projects across management, innovation, and corporate governance domains.
